Exfoliation is the key to glowing, healthy skin. Using an exfoliating body sugar scrub can help you achieve smooth skin and more. The benefits of a natural sugar scrub go beyond just cleansing skin – the healing, hydrating propertied found in a sugar scrub is perfect for all skin types.
Sugar scrubs help to restore and moisturize the skin. Sugar is a humectant, which means it cannot draw moisture out of the skin like a salt scrub can.
It is said that just smelling the coffee upon waking up in the morning is good for the brain. The smell of coffee can help resist succumbing to stress due to deprivation of sleep.
Coffee can keep your skin healthy in a lot of different ways. Other than preventing skin cancer and melanoma-related diseases, coffee has anti-oxidant ingredients that can help:
Your skin be free of different radicals that can cause acne, eczema and other skin diseases.
Improve the flow of micro-cellulars in your skin.
Break up fatty deposits which cause cellulite.
Clear up your skin of acne and other blemishes.
Act as sunblock and prevent sunburn and wrinkles.
Absorb and neutralize strong odors such as fish and other smells.
For the best results, use a sugar scrub while taking a shower. After rinsing skin with a body wash, use a sugar scrub to exfoliate and condition the body. Massage 1-2 Sugar Scrub Cubes onto wet skin in circular motion over the entire body. After rinsing off your sugar scrub, all of the dead skin cells and dirt will be removed and your skin will feel refreshed and healthy.
A few helpful tips!
Scrub towards your heart. Starting at your feet, massage and scrub in a circular pattern up the legs and towards the torso. Then continue at your fingertips and work gently up the arm.
Don’t scrub every day. Scrubbing too much can cause over-exfoliation, which does the opposite of promoting healthy skin. Most skin types should scrub 2-3 times a week. If you have sensitive skin, consider using a lighter touch and a gentler scrub.
Do NOT scrub after you shave. Ouch! You only have to do this once to know never to do it again. Instead, scrub prior to shaving, as the exfoliation will remove dead skin skills and avoid clogging your razor.
